Google Chrome OS

Google’s new operating system “Google Chrome OS” was announced before two months and Google Chrome OS was released unofficially recently.

Google Chrome OS is a light weight Linux operating system, which has GNOME 2.24 desktop environment.

System requirements
Processor: Intel Pentium, Xeon or newer; AMD Duron, Athlon, Sempron, Opteron or newer
RAM: min. 256 MB
Hard disk: min. 1 GB
Graphics card: supports most modern graphics cards

 

 

 Chrome OS available in two formats VMDK and ISO, if you are using virtual machines like VMware or Virtualbox, you can download VMDK file and run Chrome OS in your virtual machine.

To install or run live CD you need to download ISO file and burn it in a CD, further you can install or run live CD.
